As a documentary wedding photographer I will capture the real moments of your wedding day in stylish, contemporary images. Documentary or reportage photography is unprompted and unposed, instead you are free to enjoy your day with minimal intervention from me. You can read more about my approach on the Weddings page.
Working discreetly I capture emotive moments concentrating on the interaction between you and your family and friends. Successfully documenting a wedding involves capturing the whole day not just disparate parts. A small number of group shots and informal portraits are understandably requested by the majority of couples and I undertake these with minimal fuss and disruption to the day.
It’s my preference to work with natural light and I endeavour to do so unless it’s so dark that I’m forced to get out my flash.
