Creative, authentic, fun wedding and portrait photography

Hi I’m Clare, a wedding and portrait photographer based in Reading.  I photograph weddings all over Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and the rest of the UK.

I love to create honest and heartfelt images that let your character and personality shine through.  My open-minded approach means that each of my lovely couples receive a set of stunning images that perfectly reflect their unique day.

I’m passionate about capturing uncontrived images in a fresh and fun way; always looking for emotional connections, things that will make you laugh out loud, shed a tear or in years to come will transport you back to one of the happiest days of your lives.  I’m always looking for things that will make my heart sing, beautiful light, interesting shapes, colour and texture anything that will help me to make your images all the more beautiful!

Whether you’re planning a Handfasting ceremony on a hilltop, a barn wedding followed by afternoon tea or a more traditional church service followed by a reception in a stately home I’d love to hear from you.  I’ve photographed everything from beach weddings in Scotland to Woodland ceremonies with tipi receptions, full 4 day Asian weddings to small registry office ceremonies followed by a yummy meal in a pub.  No wedding is too big or too small, no idea too crazy.  Variety is the spice of life and life is what fuels my passion and creativity.

Hello

I came to photography in a bit of a round about way.  I bought an SLR to take photos of the pots I made on my ceramics degree (they had a tendancy to explode and I needed evidence they ever exsisted!)  I then dragged that camera round Australia with me for a year and discovered that I really quite liked taking photos and the rest is history.  Being able to to create awesome photos for amazing people every day  really is the best job EVER!
