wedding photography

Whoooo-hoooooo, you’re getting married!!!!  And now you’re planning the day that’s the start to the rest of your lives together.  I’d love to hear about what you’re planning for your day, whether it’s going to be big or small, grand or intimate, an elegant celebration in a stately home or a wedding festival in a field.   I’m lucky enough to have my dream job, I get to photograph so many people on one of the happiest days of their lives, share in their celebrations and capture memories they’ll look back on for the rest of their lives, honestly it’s a privilege and it ROCKS!!! (Please scroll down the page for more info, galleries and featured weddings.)

My style of photography is best described as ‘Documentary Wedding Photography’, which means that I capture things as they happen.   I love the interaction between people and strive to catch those moments which you may not even notice happening but are sure to bring a smile to your face.  The best way to get a good feel for my style of photography is to watch the slideshow of images above.  Grab a cuppa, sit back and enjoy!  Above are some of my favourite images from a real mix of weddings.  If you’d like to see more images from just one wedding then you can click on the ‘Featured Weddings’ links below or hop over to the Blog for all my latest work.

engagement session £350

An engagement session is a great way to get used to being in front of the camera and get to know me a bit better before your big day.

The session fee includes a shoot of up to 2 hours and a USB of all the beautifully eidted images from your session.

Until 30th November 2016 a free engagement session is included in my full wedding day package.

How many images will I receive? Every wedding is different so I never promise a specific number of images however you should expect to receive between 30 & 60 images for every hour I’m photographing your wedding.  All images are edited by me with my distinctive style before being placed on a USB ready for you to print.  Of course should that dreaded pimple show up just when you really don’t need it, I will remove it for you.  However should you want more substantial editing or retouching done (not that you’ll need it, I’m sure you’re lovely just as you are!) then there is an additional charge.

How long after the wedding will we receive our images?  The longest you’ll have to wait to view your images in their password protected online gallery is 6 weeks.  This is at the busiest times of year so I would hope to get them to you much sooner.  The USB of images will follow shortly after in the post.  Because I know you’ll be excited to see something sooner, I always blog a few images as a ‘Sneak Peek’ a few days after your wedding.

How far will you travel to a wedding?  I will travel anywhere in the UK and abroad.  Travel and accommodation charges will apply for overseas weddings and for UK weddings where it’s unrealistic to travel to you on the morning of the wedding.

Do you work alone or do you have a 2nd photographer?  As a general rule I work alone and I’m confident in my ability to capture all the important elements of the day for you.  However working with a 2nd photographer obviously opens up other possibilities.  For example if you’d like groom prep as well as bride prep covered in the morning then 2 photographers is essential.  A 2nd photographer also means you get two views during the ceremony and one of us can photograph groups whilst the other covers the candid moments during the reception.  If you’re having over 100 guests I would definitely recommend a 2nd photographer just to make sure that there are as many opportunities for us as possible to get great shots of all your guests.

Are you insured?  Yes, I am personally insured as is all my equipment.  I also have the highest level of road side assistance to make sure that in the case of a breakdown I still get to you no matter what.

Do you offer short wedding coverage?  Yes on weekdays (Monday to Thursday) I offer 3, 5 and 7 hour packages, please ask for more information.
