Carla & David’s Furtho Manor Farm wedding was just brilliant from start to finish! Their church service was held in the beautiful St Peter’s Church in Irthlingborough and then they moved onto the barn at Furtho Manor Farm for a drinks reception, dinner and dancing.
I just knew I’d get on well with Carla & David as soon as I met them for a coffee at the beginning of the year. They wanted a relaxed day that incorporated little details of their personalities and backgrounds and the barn gave them a blank canvas to play with. They’re based in London now so they had a London bus to get everyone about and a taxi for themselves. All the tables were decorated with london buses and telephone boxes which were also favours and a Underground map helped everyone to find their tables. I loved the idea of ‘Pimp your Prosecco’, pick a glass and add a flavour of your choice, great idea! and Antipasto hors d’oeuvres gave a nod to Carla’s heritage.
Everyone arrived at the barn in high spirits as The Vintage Red Bus Company had made sure the party started on the bus, it’s not often you see a big red bus driving along blasting out very loud music with everyone enjoying a drink and snacks! The music continued with Richie on the Sax during dinner, he was just brilliant!
The party was really kicking off as we left and I’m 100% sure that a good time was had by all. Check out the little dude at the end, he had all the moves 🙂
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Nunes, it was brilliant to capture your day for you, loved every minute of it!
