Tomorrow my niece turns 2. The last 2 years seem to have flown by and suddenly she's no longer a helpless little scrap of a thing, she's a walking, talking, into everything, crazy ball of endless energy. I will never forget the day I met her, she was less than a day old, I placed the hat I'd knitted her (that was far too big) on her head and she smiled and my heart melted.
