Louise & Toby’s Windsor Great Park Engagement Session

I met with Louise & Toby one early evening in late July for their Windsor Great Park engagement session and the light couldn't have been more perfect! The first time I met this fun loving couple was on a dreary evening last October and we ended up talking about how tilt shift lenses work and I knew we'd get on.  Louise & Toby both love photography as do many of their friends so it was really quite flattering that they chose me to capture their wedding day!  Sitting listening to all their plans I was thinking  'this is my kind of wedding', tipi's, out door ceremony, everything that … [Read more...]

Lotus & Graham – Guildford Engagement Session

A chilly (read freezing), wet day in late December might not seem the best time to photograph an engagement session but Lotus and Graham were visiting England so that's what we did and they rocked their Guildford engagement session! Lotus and Graham currently live in Miami and will be moving to England before their wedding in August.  They thought it would be a good idea to have their engagement session in wintry England so there'd be a real contrast between them and their wedding photographs.  As I was driving through driving rain, past flooded fields and rather a lot of mud (not quite the … [Read more...]

Emma & Navin – Autumn Engagement Photography

I love a good bit of autumn engagement photography and when I went to meet Emma and Navin at Nonsuch Mansion we were blessed with a beautiful sunny day and the rain had been kind and left some of the gorgeous yellow leaves on the trees too. The Pantry Cafe at Nonsuch is the perfect place to sit and have a chat, great coffee, scrumptious cake and is nice and warm and comfy.  Nonsuch park is great for walks so have a wander and stop for something to warm you up on the way home. Emma & Navin were married at Nonsuch in December with a traditional British ceremony followed by a Hindu … [Read more...]

Lucy & Dom – Great Fosters Engagement Photography

On a warm sunny evening in August I met Lucy and Dom for their Great Fosters engagement session.  Their wedding is in November and they really wanted their session to be a stark contrast to the portraits taken on their wedding day. Great Fosters is a beautiful venue whatever the time of year but on this particular evening the light was really special.  There's a huge range of backdrops at Great Fosters from the arbour covered in delicate climbing roses to the sculptural Box and Yew topiary formal gardens and of course the striking red brick building it's self. Although Lucy and Dom both … [Read more...]

Jaime & Liam – Pre-Wedding – Runnymede Hotel

Jaime & Liam get married this weekend at the Runnymede Hotel.  So last week we met for a portrait session with their boys to give them the chance to relax in front of the camera.  There was plenty to keep the boys busy from giant Jenga to a selection of crazy & bizarre sculptures. Great location for fun photo's! Really looking forwards to photographing your wedding guys! Not long now :-) Venue - The Runnymead Hotel - Surrey - www.runnymedehotel.com … [Read more...]

Annie & Paul

Annie & Paul get married at Nonsuch Mansion on 12th May 2012 so yesterday I met them there for their pre-wedding session.  More images will follow taken in the beautiful grounds of the mansion but here's one of my favourites, got to love a bit of peeling paint with a good helping of rust! … [Read more...]
