Jaime & Liam – Get Married – The Runnymede Hotel

The Runnymede Hotel - 001

Jaime and Liam’s wedding is testament to the fact that a bit of rain can’t put a dampener on a damn good celebration.  To be fair there was more than a bit of rain, it was more like multiple torrential downpours but hey it all added to the excitement.

When I arrived at Jaime’s Mum and Dad’s house I was greeted by Jaime’s Dad’s taxi, all dressed up and ready to transport the bridesmaids to the Runnymede Hotel in Surrey, where the wedding ceremony and reception were to be held.  I have worked with Liam’s family before, this is actually the third wedding I’ve photographed for them now so it was lovely to see so many familiar faces and to be greeted with such warmth :-).

The whole day was filled with music and dancing.  A harpist played Jaime into the ceremony and also entertained guests before dinner.  A jazz and swing singer ‘Hucth’ was arranged as a surprise for everybody after dinner and within no time everyone was dancing and having a great time.  Its impromptu moments like this that will be such amazing memories in years to come.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Morgan.  I wish you every happiness together as husband and wife!
