Jayne & Rod Monks Barn Wedding in Hurley was just brilliant! The Barn is a completely blank canvas that you can decorate as you like and was the perfect location for their wedding last Saturday. They kept the day quite low key and were married in the barn with atmospheric lighting and just close friends and family. Then they moved outside onto the lawn for a lovely relaxed drinks and canape reception.
Hurley’s right on the river Thames so we headed down to the river for some portraits and made the most of the soft evening light. All in all it was a fantastically chilled day with the kids running around and playing lawn games, the quintessential Berkshire wedding.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Hicks, here are a few of my favourites from your day 🙂 x
It was super lovely to work with Lulu from Weddings by Lulu Douglas who coordinated the whole day, Rachel from Veiled Productions who captured everything on video (can’t wait to see the preview!), Fullers Flowers for Jayne’s gorgeous bouquet and delicate table decorations, Charlie Hole who played guitar beautifully, Coxtails who provided the bar, Bon Viveur for the delicious food, Oakwood Events for the lighting, The Whole Hog Roast (fairly self explanatory) and last but not least House of Chords who got everyone on the dance floor and were excellent!!!
