Happy Saturday everyone. I’m just getting ready to go and 2nd shoot for the lovely Mia Hooper at Oakley Hall but before that I’ve Chris and Carol’s engagement session to share with you. We’re going back a year here, well over a year. They were married in February last year and I’ll be sharing that soon. Happy (Belated) 1st Anniversary guys :-).
Between Reading, Earley and Sonning there is a nature reserve, just a small one but it is lovely for a walk and also pretty good for gathering blackberries and other goodies at the right time of the year. My enduring memory of this place in back in the days when I used to be a temp I had the pleasure of a couple of weeks of data entry at British Gas and used to spend my lunch hour sat on a jetty, over the water on the edge of the reserve. One day a saw an Adder swimming in the water, it was very cool!
Obviously that has nothing to do with Chris and Carol but they are pretty cool too! I knew we’d get on well from the moment the conversation turned to recycling, within the first 2 mins of being in their house. Chris and Carol were planning their wedding near Stratford upon Avon but wanted to have their engagement session close to home with a natural setting. However I still managed to find a very rusty, colourful container which made an amazing backdrop and a nice little contrast to the trees and hay bales we found in the reserve.
If you’re planning a wedding in Reading or any other location in Berkshire or would like to book an engagement session then please get in touch, I’d love to hear from you.
