Rachel and Ross’ March wedding at Bisham Abbey was filled with all things beautifully bright and springy. The small pots of daffodils, anemones and daisies dotted about looked amazing against Bisham’s dark wooden paneled walls.
When Rachel & Ross got in touch to tell me they were getting married and would like to book me as their photographer I was so chuffed. We used to be neighbours and so it really was fantastic to be able to capture their big day for them! They’re such a great couple, always ready with a smile and that’s exactly how they were from start to finish of their big day!
After an amazingly relaxed morning spent with the girls at Rachel’s parents house, I headed over to Bisham Abbey to meet Ross and the boys putting the finishing touches to the decor and donning their button holes.
The Warwick room is a beautiful room at the best of times, but on this day looked particularly pretty with the lighting reflecting the yellow spring flowers and Rachel and Ross bathed in the soft spring light, flooding through the main window. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house by the end of the ceremony!
The rest of the day was whiled, with a drinks reception in the Margaret Dickinson Lounge and dinner in the Great Hall. Rachel broke with tradition and participated in the speeches and the evening celebrations were kicked off with her Dad playing with the band for their first dance. All in all a very special day and one I was honored to be able to photograph. Now I’ll let the photos do the talking.
