My photo bestie Mia Hooper asked me if I wanted to do a weekend wedding road trip with her and I was all like ‘HELL yeeeahhhh!!!’ So we started with a gorgeous rustic farm wedding and then when we were done it was road trip all the way to Camber Sands and a good night’s sleep before the awesome tropically inspired wedding on the beach the next day.
It was such a beautiful day! The sun was shining and the handmade pagoda with floaty red and orange fabric, made by the couple looked amazing on the beach contrasting against the blue sea and white sand. They finished the tropical feel for the day off with exotic flowers and a steel band to entertain their guests. It was a real group effort to set everything up in the morning ready for the ceremony. I love it when everyone pitches into to set up the perfect day, it just makes it even more personal and special.
The beautiful ceremony on the beach was followed by a beach themed reception complete with seagulls and an ice cream wedding cake (seriously cup ckaes made in ice cream cones and decorated with butter icing and chocolate flakes! It was lickable!!!!)
As always a huge thank you to Mia for having me along and also for letting me share these images. Its such a privilege to be able to get to work with photography friends and respected colleagues on such beautiful weddings.
